The table shown on this slide lists available austriamicrosystems dot matrix LED drivers comparing the most common features. The table shows the maximum number of LEDs the driver can handle, the average current, if it integrates a charge pump, DC/DC converter or a pin to control an external one. Also shown is the resolution of the PWM, and if the PWM applies to individual LEDs, an LED string or to the full matrix. The fifth column shows how the analog current can be set. Following this there are some features, such as internal memory which determines how many frames or pictures can be stored in the device, if the IC features a reset pin, diagnostic functions and how many keys can be read back. At the end, the available interface and the package options are shown.
