PolarFire® SoC FPGAs | Datasheet Preview

The Microchip PolarFire is a low-power, multi-core RISC 5 SoC FPGA that delivers a combination of low power consumption, thermal efficiency, and defense-grade security for smart, connected systems. This is the first SoC FPGA with a deterministic, coherent RISC 5 CPU cluster and a deterministic L2 memory subsystem for creating Linux and real-time applications. The PolarFire SoC FPGAs include 25,000 to 460,000 logic elements, 784 math blocks, and 16 SerDes lanes of 12.7 gigabits per second. Offering no compromise between low power and superior performance, the PolarFire SoC benefits are demonstrated by EEMBC CoreMark-Pro published benchmarks. With memory interfaces for DDR4 and DDR3, and low-power LPDDR4 and LPDDR3; and multiple communication interfaces and controllers, the Microchip PolarFire RISC 5 SoC FPGA is ideally suited for secure, power-efficient compute in industrial applications.
