Littelfuse SMD Series picoASMDCH010F-2 | DigiKey Daily

Littelfuse offers their automotive-qualified, high-temperature SMD series of PolySwitch Resettable PPTCs. These surface mount resettable devices—for overcurrent and short-circuit conditions, is the first miniature-sized high temperature PPTC series from Littelfuse with AEC-Q200 qualification for automotive applications. Included in this series is the picoASMDCH010F-2, which has a 16-volt 100-milliamp rating, at 25 degrees Celsius, and is offered in an 0805 SMD package. Depending on the ambient temperature, this device’s holding current ranges from 40 milliamps to 150 milliamps at 16 volts. Given their surface mount form factors, these PPTCs are compatible with high-volume electronics assembly. Applications include automotive and industrial transportation, infotainment and telematics, climate control systems, sensor protection, ADAS systems, auto lighting, security and communication systems, and many more.
