Additional features and benefits include: a subminiature SOT-23 package, offering a surface mount package on the tape and reel, with 3000 units per reel. The sensors are also omnipolar, meaning they respond to either a north or south magnetic pole. This eliminates the need for the magnet polarity to be identified and simplifies the manufacturing process. The push-pull (CMOS) output feature eliminates the need for external resistors and helps to reduce production costs. Lastly, the sensors have a non-chopper stabilized design, which eliminates electrical noise generated by the sensor.
