Harwin’s shield clip and can solution simplifies the production process, decreases costs and increases reliability compared to traditional pc tail through hole cans which must be hand soldered to the board.  The automated placement of the shield clips removes any need for time consuming and expensive hand soldering. This decreases costs while increasing reliability by eliminating the risk of thermal damage to sensitive components from soldering heat exposure. Removable cans allow easy access for cleaning and rework.
