Littelfuse ITV Series | Datasheet Preview

Littelfuse’s ITV series battery protector is designed for use in a wide variety of battery-operated applications. Littelfuse's three-terminal surface-mount battery protector can provide both overcurrent and overvoltage, or overcharging protection. This is a secondary protection device that provides added protection for accidental overcurrent or over-temperature error conditions that can occur. Fuse elements are used to cut off the circuit when overcurrent issues occur, and a heater is embedded into the protector under the fuse elements, generating heat to blow the fuse once overvoltage is detected by IC or FETs. The ITV series offers a fast response, a low internal resistance, and is surface-mountable via reflow soldering methods. This is a unique UL- and TUV-certified device for universal battery protection in applications like automotive networks, power tools, and many other battery-operated devices.
