The ERU25 series has other advantages including a design that utilizes flat, rectangular wire allowing more copper in the core which lowers resistance. The large contact leads on the underside of the inductor help dissipate heat and minimizes the footprint. Additionally, the flat top surface allows for pick and place assembly onto the printed circuit board. This device is also RoHS compatible.
