In summary, the Shadow™ HBC series connectors are high definition 75Ω BNC type connectors which have been designed for high definition broadcast. HBC connectors feature a black anodized, precision machined brass body with a high density Teflon insulator and a 0.042” semi-captive gold plated contact. Shadow connectors offer excellent return loss, and can be utilized with most existing standard BNC tooling. The series includes crimp plugs, female/female feed-thru panel connectors and a 75Ω, 0.1% precision termination plug. There are also several assembly tools available which are engineered specifically for the HBC product line. The crimp plugs and tooling are available for RG6, RG59, mini RG59 and RG179 cables.
