Wolfspeed silicon carbide (SiC) diode portfolio offers multiple generations to meet diverse application requirements
The Wolfspeed portfolio of SiC Schottky diodes features the merged PiN Schottky (MPS) design, which is more robust and reliable than standard Schottky barrier diodes. This portfolio includes options that range from 600 V to 1700 V with a range of forward currents. These diodes can increase the efficiency, reliability, and longevity of power systems while also reducing the overall system size, weight, and cost.
Wolfspeed SiC Schottky diodes are designed to meet diverse application requirements. Typical applications include uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), solar energy systems, motor drives, and industrial power supplies.
Pairing Wolfspeed SiC diodes with SiC MOSFETs creates a powerful combination of higher efficiency and reduced component cost when purchased together.
