ITU03/ITP03 Series 4:1 Wide-Input DC/DC Converters

XP Power’s ITU03 and ITP03 series offer a 4:1 input range and are well suited for portable and battery-operated equipment where it provides a constant load voltage at different states of battery charge/discharge. Applications are not confined to portable equipment. Both series can be used to provide a regulated point-of-load source from a DC bus wherever a small amount of power is required.

The ITU03 is a DIP8 packaged version of the SIP6 ITP03. Both devices have remote control of the single-output versions, and the ITU03 has this feature on the dual-output versions.

These series are available in three wide-input ranges: 4.5 V_DC to 18 V_DC for 12 V nominal, 9.0 V_DC to 36 V_DC for 24 V nominal, and 18 V_DC to 75 V_DC for 48 V nominal. There are four single-regulated output voltages (3.3 V_DC, 5.0 V_DC, 12 V_DC, and 15 V_DC) and three dual-output voltages (±5.0 V_DC, ±12 V_DC, and ±15V_DC). The dual-output versions could also be used to provide a single 24 V_DC or 30 V_DC output. Both single and dual versions feature remote on/off. When inhibited, the standby current is 2.5 mA.

The units offer isolation of 1.6 kV_DC input/output and feature short-circuit protection with auto-recovery.
