STMicroelectronics' STSPIN32F0 motor-control system-in-package provides an integrated solution suitable for driving three-phase BLDC motors using different driving modes. The STSPIN32F0 combines a microcontroller and an analog IC in a tiny 7 mm x 7 mm QFN package, delivering the flexibility and power of a microcontroller-based motor drive with the convenience, simplicity, and space-efficiency of a single IC. It features an extended operating voltage from 8 to 45 V, an integrated comparator for overcurrent protection with programmable threshold, and three-phase gate drivers with 600 mA sink and source, integrated bootstrap diodes, and cross-conduction prevention.
