Stewart Connector USB 2.0 and 3.0 Connectors | DigiKey Daily
The nickel shielded USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectors, from Stewart Connector, offer an operating temperature range from minus 55 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius for board mount applications. Both Type A and Type B connectors are available. The Type A plug is offered in multiple orientations including vertical through hole, right-angle through hole, and stackable options. USB 2.0 connectors are designed to achieve data transfer rates up to 480 megabits per second. Also, these connectors can endure a peak current rating up to 1.5 amps per contact. USB 3.0 connectors are more capable: they can withstand peak currents as high as 1.8 amps per contact and can handle data transfer rates up to 5 gigabits per second.
