Keystone Electronics presents their quick-fit, quarter-inch male tab terminals. These tabs are specifically designed on a continuous reel to be compatible with standard automated insertion equipment, thereby reducing assembly and processing time. Made from brass with tin plating, these quick-fit terminals ensure easy installation and soldering to a PCB, and are packaged on reels as a drop-in replacement for existing products. The 1287-R tab offers a quarter-inch-wide male tab with a height of 0.312 inches above the board. Part 1287-STR is a tab with added solder joint strength, which is used for keeping the terminal perpendicular to the board during and after soldering. And for taller tab requirements, the 1289-STR is recommended, which offers a height of 0.540 inches above the board.
