3M 7700 Series cable | DigiKey Daily

3M 7700 series cable is a controlled impedance ribbon cable designed to support high-speed wire-to-board connections in test, networking, data centers, industrial, and retail equipment. The cable has a differential impedance of 95 Ω that supports data rates up to 20 Gbps and tight bends and folds with minimal effect on the impedance. 7700 series cable is constructed from 30 gauge solid conductors with a polyolefin insulation that are laminated to a foil shield with an outer insulator, with 10 to 100 conductors per cable. The 0.025” pitch solid conductor allows the cable to be soldered directly to a PCB, but the cables can also be used with IDC connectors.
