VAC Magnetics' current sensor portfolio comprises closed-loop, benvac, and differential versions

Image of VAC Magnetics' Current SensorsVAC Magnetics' closed-loop current sensors are available in a variety of designs with versions for PCB mounting, with a primary conductor opening, or for panel mounting. Passive sensors that require some external electronics are also available.

The AC/DC sensitive DI sensors, including benvac sensors, either have a pass-through opening for the primary conductor or are already equipped with a varying number of primary conductors for PCB mounting.

  • Closed-loop sensors
    • Standard series for nominal currents from 6 A to 200 A in compact designs
    • Types for +5 V power supply with voltage output
    • Types for ±12 V to 15 V power supply with current output
    • Very good measuring accuracy, min. DC offset with very low hysteresis
    • Very low temperature dependence and long-term drift of the output variable
    • Negligible output noise
  • All current sensitive differential current sensors
    • Differential current range of 30 mA up to 1000 mA (typ.)
    • Single +5 V voltage supply
    • Automatic demagnetization of the sensor core for offset decrease
    • Self-monitoring and test functions
    • Frequency range DC to 10 kHz
