Toshiba's ultra-low IQ load switch improves battery life in mobile devices

Image of Toshiba's 0.08nA Quiescent Current Load SwitchToshiba’s TCK12xBG series load switches offer one of the industry's-lowest quiescent current load switch in the small 0.645 mm x 0.645 mm WCSP4G package with an output current of 1 A.

By using Toshiba’s patented driver circuit, the TCK12xBG series features an ON-state quiescent current of typical 0.08 nA. This is a 99.9% reduction from the previous generation of load switches, which is one of the lowest in the industry. This helps wearables and IoT devices powered by small batteries to operate for longer hours.

This load switch series consists of TCK127BG with automatic discharge that turns on at active high, TCK126BG that turns on without automatic discharge, and TCK128BG that turns on at active low.
