FSP200 Optical Fusion Splicer and FCL200 Optical Fiber Cleaver

Tempo Communications’ FSP200 optical fusion splicer uses core alignment technology which allows a technician to reliably fuse fiber optic cables with low splice losses in as little time as seven seconds. The intuitive user interface keeps the learning curve short to enable productivity in a very short time. FTTx, P2P installations, and all standard fibers are supported with pre-qualified splicing profiles that can be modified and subsequently stored for more demanding fiber applications.

The FSP200 is available in the popular contractor kit which bundles the fusion splicer, FCL200 cleaver, an extra battery, and fiber strippers so the technician has all of the tools needed to get the job done right. The splicer and cleaver kit configuration includes the FSP200 fusion splicer and FCL200 cleaver.

The FCL200 optical fiber cleaver provides fast and accurate cleaves that can be used with any fusion splicer and for preparing fibers for use with mechanical connectors.

On the FCL200, when the fixed clamp is installed, the fiber is securely held in place and is capable of cleaving 200 microns, 250 microns, 900 microns, 3 mm, ribbon, and bowtie fibers. The dust bin automatically collects all fiber end cuts for safe disposal with its spring driven mechanism.
