Image of Pulse Electronics', a YAGEO Company, PA5140/41 Series Common Mode Choke Round Wire CoilPulse Electronics', YAGEO Company, offers PAC6006/PA5140/PA5141 series common mode chokes that use fully-automated, round wire coil forming technology offering extremely high current in a surface-mount package. Three platforms have been developed including the EP13 (13.5 mm x 15.5 mm x 15.5 mm), EP18 (18 mm x 19 mm x 19 mm), and the EP22 (23 mm x 23 mm x 23 mm) which offer inductance of 110 µH to 470 µH and currents up to 32 A. These EP cores are designed around the coil dimension to minimize the component size, offering a higher-density inductance/current solution. The self-leaded round wire coil technology allows a 60% reduction in board spec for the same inductance/current capability, which is ideally suited for next-generation designs.
