Pulse, a YAGEO company, PulseJack™ ICMs are a solution for PCI Express, or PCIe, a high-speed serial computer expansion bus standard. The latest standard has numerous improvements on the older expansion slot technology for higher bandwidth, and this means a growing demand for faster data rates on copper from 1 G to 10 G, all offered in a smaller and lower profile card size. Not just any RJ45 connector can be used; it needs to be of a lower height than conventional products. The JT4-xCx stands at just 11.9 mm above the PCB and is designed to support PCIe boards fitted in slots with a 1 U (22.48 mm) pitch on the motherboard. Advantages for this series include multi-rate Ethernet 1 G, 2.5 G, 5 G, and 10 G, offered with PoE (90 W) and LED and EMI options.
