BM10 Series FPC-to-Board Connectors
Hirose's FPC-to-board connectors feature enhanced self-alignment mechanisms
Hirose has developed a series of FPC-to-board connectors that provide design engineers with versatile, flexible printed circuit connectors, and minimal board heights. The BM10 series is available with stacking heights of 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm and feature a space-saving 2.98 mm depth and 0.4 mm contact pitch.
The 10- to 60-position BM10 series connectors feature enhanced self-alignment mechanisms via guidance ribs, with a self-alignment range of 0.3 mm. Metal fittings and a clipping contact design provide high PC board retention force and a highly reliable contact. Also, dimpled contacts result in robust mating in high shock environments. The BM10 series connectors also feature solder wicking prevention and contact protection against dust and other particles.
