Using a standard, commercial cable in an industrial motion application will lead to cable failure and machine downtime which is avoidable by using Belden’s MachFlex series of industrial cables. Designed for the rigors of light to continuous motion applications, MachFlex can help eliminate the unexpected and expensive downtime caused by insulation abrasion, shield degradation, and torque (corkscrewing) failures. The MachFlex product offerings also include cables with a bend radius as tight as 5 x OD, where the industry standard is 10 x OD. MachFlex is the perfect cable for both motion application and space-constrained applications.
