40PR Anti-Static Electronic Tape

3M’s 40PR series 2.2 mil thick electronic tape is preprinted with a static symbol and has a 1 mil thick anti-static, polyester film backing. This tape offers optimized adherence with an anti-static, conductive polymer and acrylic adhesive. It has a compact design and a multitude of applications in manufacturing. The tape is designed to prevent ESD damage to various sensitive electronic equipment in manufacturing environments. It comes on an anti-static plastic core that eliminates dirt contamination in clean work areas and is RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant. The 40PR series is ideal for use in static-sensitive areas. The ESD protective symbol on the tape is useful in identifying items that are specifically designed to provide electrostatic discharge protection.

3M’s 40PR utility tape can withstand temperatures up to +266°F (+130°C). The tape is available in widths from ¼”, ½”, ¾”, 1”, and 2” and in lengths of 32 yards or 72 yards.
