iPass, with its 0.8mm pitch, is right in the “sweet spot” of physical size that 1) is small enough to fit all mechanical architectures (more to follow on that) and 2) yet still utilize today’s known cable termination and PCB design & manufacturing processes. Anything smaller than 0.8mm will create challenges in these areas for users.
