In summary, The ADC12_B features the lowest power ADC in the MSP430 family, and is capable of operation down to 1.8 V. This 12-bit differential ADC can use either an internal voltage source or AVcc as a common reference module. Each input channel is equipped with a configuration register which allows full per-channel configurability of clock source, reference, and memory control. The ADC also features internal connections for temperature and battery measurement. DMA capability enables the storage of conversion results in memory with no CPU intervention. A new feature on this ADC is the window comparator which allows the user to set threshold levels for conversion results.
