In addition to increased evaluation for the promotion of extended life and reduction in the cost of field failures, the CGJ series also boasts several features. TDK incorporates it’s Secure Reel Packaging technology to provide a tamper proof seal for Anti-Counterfeit measures. The anti‐counterfeit label with a unique identification code is placed over the reel flanges to ensure material authenticity. They also provide a Certificate of Compliance for qualification purposes. Users can view lot specific CoC and authenticate received products through the anti‐counterfeit website tool. A passive RFID label for asset tracking and traceability is an available option. TDK’s RFID reel tags are commissioned with lot specific information such as a lot number, customer part number, and quantity. TDK is currently using a UHF Generation 2, passive RFID Tag. TDK’s RFID tags are compliant to ISO/IEC18000 – 6 :2010 requirements and ROHS 2002/95/EC and REACH 1907/2006/EC directives.
