Microchip offers LED driver modules/reference designs for industrial displays. These LED driver modules are compact and highly efficient LED driver boards designed to offer prototype or production ready platforms. Schematics, layouts and BOM files are also available for porting into the customer overall solution. On this slide, the drawings show design examples of 6.5” LED backlit LCD panels. In short, the benefits of the MSL106X family can be summarized as follows: strings can be used in parallel for higher current needs; no compensation required, adapts to LED supply requirements; allows up to twelve LEDs per string; and the LED driver can operate from typical 5V, 12V and 24V power supplies or battery management.
