WE-LQ Power Inductor
Würth Elektronik’s SMT inductors are available in shielded, semi-shielded, automotive-approved, and unshielded variations
Würth Elektronik’s WE-LQ family SMT power inductor includes fully-shielded (WE-LQFS), semi-shielded (WE-LQS and WE-LQSH), semi-shielded automotive-approved (WE-LQSA), and unshielded (WE-LQ) variations. The compact power inductors are wound on a special ferrite core, offer small inductances that are suitable for compact circuits, a high Q at high frequencies, and a low DC-resistance.
The WE-LQFS fully-shielded inductor version has matching land patterns to the WE-LQ unshielded version. The WE-LQS semi-shielded inductor version provides 1.7 times more current than the WE-LQ unshielded version. The WE-LQS is available in the WE-LQSA automotive AEC-Q200 Grade 0 qualified version in package sizes including 5040, 6045, and 8040. The WE-LQSH high-current semi-shielded power inductors offer a 70% higher saturation current in comparison to the WE-LQS power inductor variation.
