Shown here is the standard 22 mm hole cut-out with keyway needed to mount the Mallory alarm. To assemble the alarm, remove the nut from the alarm and insert it into the panel with the NEMA gasket on the front side of the panel. For most applications, hand tightening the nut is adequate. To tighten the nut to the maximum rated allowed, use ten inch-pounds or 1.13 newton-meters. If the application needs assurance that the nut will never come loose, use lock-tite or other similar compounds, or silicon adhesive will also lock the nut in place. The maximum panel thickness allowed for this series is 12.7 mm or half an inch.
