MCC offers two types of technologies in bridge rectifier designs: Mesa technology and planar technology. Planar technology bridge rectifiers have gone through multiple phases of lithographic design, improving overall performance, such as lowering the forward voltage drop and leakage current. Meanwhile, it increases the peak forward current and system reliability. Planar technology low V_F bridge rectifiers always have an L in the middle of the ordering code; for example, GBU15L06-BP. For a cost-efficient solution, customers may select the Mesa technology version with an L suffix; for example, GBJ2508L-BP.
