CPA Ceramic Patch Antenna

TE Connectivity Linx ceramic patch antennas (CPA) offer directional signaling in a printed circuit board (PCB) mount square patch. The re-peelable 5000NS adhesive backing allows for repositioning or reorientation of the antenna for ease of manufacturing and the pin-type connection feeds through the PCB where it is soldered to the feed line. The CPA series is available in three single-band frequencies: 868 MHz, 915 MHz, and 2.4 GHz.

The 868 MHz CPA antenna is ideal for low-power, wide-area (LPWA) applications including LoRaWAN®, Sigfox®, remote controls, and other 868 MHz ISM band applications in a 25 mm x 25 mm package for a suggested 70 mm x 70 mm ground plane.

The 915 MHz CPA antenna targets RFID and handheld applications and other 915 MHz ISM band applications. The recommended ground plane is 40 mm x 40 mm for the 25 mm x 25 mm antenna footprint.

The 2.4 GHz CPA antenna supports 2.4 GHz ISM applications including Bluetooth® and ZigBee®, as well as single-band Wi-Fi with a footprint of only 20 mm x 20 mm on a recommended ground plane size of 40 mm x 40 mm.
