KYOCERA AVX offers their MLO series of low ESR microwave capacitors
Based on KYOCERA AVX's patented multilayer, low-loss organic (MLO) technology, these capacitors represent a paradigm shift from the traditional ceramic and thin film capacitors. Polymer-based with highly conductive copper interconnects stacked in a multilayer fashion, these components are fabricated on large area substrates and use state-of-the art laser direct imaging, which amounts to tight tolerance control, low ESR and high SRF upwards of 1 GHz.
