OSRAM OSTAR® Projection Compact LEDs

ams OSRAM’s OSRAM OSTAR projection compact family of high-power LEDs enables outstanding stage illumination fixtures. Higher optical outputs are obtained through ams OSRAM’s next generation chip technology, along with optimized package thermal performance. The devices allow secondary optics to be mounted very closely to the light emitting surface (LES) for better coupling efficiency and narrower beam focusing. The 2 mm² rectangular chip, provide exceptional green light output flux, and has the biggest emitting surface in the family.

This family features leading typical flux for true green with 1000 lm at I_F (max.), and the typical thermal resistance of 1.4 K/W is outstanding. The low product height of 0.75 mm enables very small stacked end products. A high current density of 2.5 A/mm² for ered/true green and 3.3 A/mm² for blue adds to the existing portfolio that includes the white version (KW CULPM1.TG).
