RX23W MCU with Integrated Bluetooth® 5.0

Renesas' RX23W MCU enables customers to optimize multiple functions such as BLE communication and system control, as well as integrating advanced security, which is one of today’s most important challenges. The MCU can solve these problems by delivering the full functionality of BT5 along with the high-performance processing and superior power efficiency with Renesas’ RXv2 CPU core and robust security with Trusted Secure IP. The IoT devices that embed the RX23W can connect directly with other Bluetooth-enabled devices like PCs, tablets, or smartphones to increase their value proposition. 

In addition, the RX23W incorporates an on-chip antenna matching circuit and crystal oscillator for the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) clock, this enables Bluetooth adoption with fewer surrounding components, allowing designers to reduce the bill-of-materials (BOM) cost.
