Omron SPST-NO relays support high-current applications
 The Omron G9KA-E SPST-NO relay supports high-current applications with high-capacity load ratings. The high capacity and low contact resistance characteristics make the G9KA ideal for PV inverters/power conditioners, industrial inverters, and UPS systems. This 300 A high-power relay reduces the need for complex temperature designs and inclusion of heat transfer devices due to low contact resistance compared to similar relays. It can support designs with high voltage requirements of up to 1,000 VAC.

- Capable of supporting high-capacity switching and carrying currents
- Low initial contact resistance: 0.2 mΩ max
- Reduces heat generation due to contact resistance
- Lower heat generation results in a lesser need for materials such as heat sinks
- Holding voltage required is 45% to 60% of rated voltage
- Reduces power consumption to 1 W from 5 W when held at 45% of rated V
- Auxiliary contact Type 1B is also offered for contact weld detection requirements

Precautions for G9KA Use
- Do not connect to individual relays by probes or sockets; abnormal heat may be experienced by insufficient connections
- Install and use relays with the recommended soldering conditions; avoiding recommendations may lead to abnormal heat generation
- Do not use dropped relays, as the shock may cause improper relay operation
