OSLON® Boost HM LED

ams OSRAM's OSLON Boost HM Gen2 delivers potent light output, robust package, and dependable quality. This LED enhances flexibility when creating slim or sleeker headlamp designs thanks to its high luminance output. It is an excellent option for range extensions and high beam spots in matrix applications.

The OSLON Boost HM Gen2 part has a high I_F max of 1.3 A, and the LED achieves high luminance out of a smaller LEA of (730 µm)². These factors enable reducing the optical size (lenses) to realize slim/sleeker headlamp designs. This LED is ideal for creating the hot spot beam for matrix applications with dynamic low resolution (mostly in combination with the OSLON Compact PL family). The OSLON Boost HM shares the same footprint as the OSLON Compact PL and helps to reduce system costs by using the same PCB layout for different applications, e.g., low and high beams (same package/footprint as Compact PL).
