Lorandt Föelkel, a Design Engineer at Heart

Lorandt Föelkel is an application engineer for EMI situation and power converter design for industrial and automotive electronic applications. He is Wurth Electronics' spokesperson for EMC seminars. Since 2005, Lorandt has presented approximately 500 seminars around the world to design engineers, giving training and easy understanding to the EMC problems at a board level.

Lorandt has over 25 years’ experience in electronic design, including 13 years in product management for passive components at Wurth Electronics, as well as a widespread experience in EMC filter design and efficiency improvement for DC/DC converters. After his study at the University Transylvania in Brasov (Romania), Lorandt worked for 8 years as a service technician for consumer electronics and then as a design engineer for EX (explosion safety) remote.
