Image of Vishay Semi Diodes' VMMBZ ESD Protection Diodes Vishay's VMMBZ ESD protection diodes are housed in a compact DFN1006-2A or DFN1006-2 package with a low package height of less than 0.5 mm. The devices offer one-line bidirectional ESD protection with an AEC-Q101-qualified version available. The VMMBZ diodes have a working range of ±14 V to ± 28 V. Due to the short leads and small package size of the tiny DFN1006 package, the line inductance is very low so that fast transients like an ESD strike can be clamped with minimal overshoots or undershoots. Connected between the signal or data line and the ground, the VMMZ series offers a high isolation courtesy of the low leakage current.
